Instructors

Craig Fahey

Craig has been instructing privately on drums and piano around New Hampshire over the past 12 years.
He has decided to settle down in one location to offer more to the students.

Most people would feel fortunate to become accomplished on one instrument in their lifetime. Craig Fahey is widely regarded as being accomplished on two. As a drummer, Craig has studied with the legendary instructor Gary Chaffee. His studies proved to be worth the enormous effort he put forth, as he was (and continues to be ) in high demand for his talents in all styles of music.
Not one to let grass grow under his feet, Craig then went on to unlock his great potential on the piano. Again, he sought insight from master instructors such as Charlie Banacos and Sai Ghose. The fruits of his labors can be heard by going to see him front his own “Craig Fahey Trio”.
Craig’s exploits in the music business have taken him literally from coast to coast on tour with many different bands, from general business gigs in the Greater Boston Area, to the L.A. Music Awards in California. Craig is currently accepting students for piano lessons.

Currently, Chris is the guitarist and producer for the award winning seacoast jazz/rock/soul outfit:  The Amorphous Band.  Over the years this band has played on stages and bills with international stars such as Robert Cray, John Hiatt, Tim Reynolds, Soulive, The Headhunters and others while maintaining a presence in clubs, festivals and concerts all over New England and beyond.  After winning the Portsmouth Herald’s reader’s poll for best jazz act five years in a row, the Amorphous Band has been inducted into the Seacoast music Hall of Fame.
